Virginia Creeper Trail Reconstruction

Kiewit Infrastructure South Co. is working with the U.S. Forest Service and local partners to restore the 18-mile Mount Rogers National Recreation Area segment of the Virginia Creeper Trail between Damascus, Virginia, and the North Carolina state line. This portion of the trail sustained significant storm damage during Hurricane Helene in September 2024 and remains closed for public safety.
